Quality and the environment

Our Quality and Environment strategy is based on the implementation of a unique management system which guarantees the homogenisation of processes, the control of risks and an effective management of opportunities.

As part of its process homogenisation strategy, in 2017 the HLA Group attained certification for all its hospitals, reproduction units and central services, in accordance with ISO 14.001.

Our objective was achieved using four lines of action:

FOSTERING A COMMITMENT TO RECYCLING AND THE SAVING OF NATURAL RESOURCES (ELECTRICITY, WATER, FUEL AND PAPER):

  • Containers available to staff and patients.
  • Definition of environmental indicators.

  • Ecolabel certification for all products which ensure a low environmental impact.

  • Investment in technologies which lead to savings in paper use.

INVOLVING ALL THOSE LINKED TO OUR CHAIN OF VALUES WITH THE HLA COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT:

  • Environmental audits for suppliers.

  • Communication of specific environmental requirements.

  • Establishment of environmental clauses.

ENCOURAGING GOOD ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTICES IN PATIENTS, FAMILY MEMBERS AND VISITORS:

  • Leaflets showing good environmental practices.

  • Operational control which is common to all centres.

CREATING A CULTURE OF SUSTAINABILITY IN OUR CENTRES:

  • Environmental training and awareness-raising for all our employees.

  • Proactive management of environmental risks.
