Social Action

The objective of the HLA Hospital Group is to provide healthcare of excellence and to satisfy the expectations of our interest groups at the highest level. In this respect, various activities and agreements have been developed, reflecting the entity’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and the other agents which form it. Some of the most noteworthy are:

Collaboration with 14 healthcare entities, patients’ associations and educational entities, such as authorised blood banks in provinces with HLA hospitals, heart associations, the gathering of school materials for students in low-resource schools, among others.
We have been the protagonists in a number of scientific studies thanks to the participation of three HLA Vistahermosa nurses in a manual on mechanical ventilation; the pioneers of an ophthalmological study carried out in Valencia by Oftalvist; and a study which suggests hibernation when CPR does not work, as developed by a doctor at HLA Santa Isabel, etc.
Sponsorship of more than 15 sports entities such as the Albacete duathlon, Madrid Football Cup and Huelva Fitness Day. We have renewed collaborations with professional teams, including HLA Alicante’s renewed sponsorship of basketball in the region, Lleida Esportiu and Unicaja of Almería.
There have been 44 healthcare training and prevention days in collaboration with our professionals and non-profit entities, such as the scheduling of the Aula Montpellier cycle, a training course on artificial nutrition at HLA Vistahermosa, etc.
We have run activities, collaborations and even material donations with over 20 NGOs and non-profit foundations, including the donation of healthcare materials to United Fire-Fighters Without Borders, which helped in the earthquake of Indonesia, and healthcare materials for Gaza and Senegal, among others.
